Effects of 7Es Inquiry Learning Management Together with Comic book Entitled Properties of Daily Substance for Grade4 Student

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop and explore efficiency of 7Es inquiry learning management plan together with a comic book, examine learning achievement and student satisfaction of 7Es inquiry learning management together with a comic book entitled “Properties of Daily Substance” for Grade 4 students. The sample selected by purposive sampling method was Grade 4 students of Nongmaklua School under Primary Education Service Area Office. The instruments used were a comic book, a learning management plan, a test, a science process skill evaluation form, a desirable characteristics evaluation form, and a satisfaction survey. The percentage, mean and standard deviation were the parameters used for statistical analysis.

The results revealed that the 7Es inquiry learning management plan together with a comic book entitled “Properties of Daily Substance” for Grade 4 students consisted of the following components: learning outcome, learning standard and indicator, learning objective, learning content, learning activity, learning material/source, evaluation and assessment, recommended activity, and learning record. The learning activities were designed into 7 phases: elicitation phase, engagement phase, exploration phase, explanation phase, expansion phase/ elaboration phase, evaluation phase, and extension phase. The learning management plan consisted of 10 plans with 20 hours of learning duration. Furthermore, the efficiency of the lesson plans was 77.9/87.67, and the average of students’ learning achievement overall was 79.19% which was higher than 75/75 set criteria. In addition, the satisfaction of the students of the 7Es inquiry learning management plan together with a comic book was at the highest level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพของแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น (7Es) ร่วมกับหนังสือการ์ตูน ศึกษาผลการเรียนรู้ และความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการเรียนโดยใช้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น (7Es) ร่วมกับหนังสือการ์ตูน เรื่อง สมบัติของสารในชีวิตประจำวัน สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนบ้านหนองมะเกลือ สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษา ซึ่งได้มาโดยวิธีสุ่มแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ หนังสือการ์ตูน แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ แบบทดสอบ แบบประเมินทักษะการบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์แบบประเมินคุณลักษณะ อันพึงประสงค์ และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น (7Es) ร่วมกับหนังสือการ์ตูน เรื่อง สมบัติของสารในชีวิตประจำวัน สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 มีองค์ประกอบที่สำคัญได้แก่ 1. สาระสำคัญ 2. มาตรฐานการเรียนรู้และตัวชี้วัด 3. จุดประสงค์การเรียนรู้ 4. สาระการเรียนรู้ 5. กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ 6. สื่อ/แหล่งเรียนรู้ 7. การวัดผลและประเมินผล 8. กิจกรรมเสนอแนะ 9. บันทึกหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ออกแบบเป็น 7 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นที่ 1 ตรวจสอบความรู้เดิม ขั้นที่ 2 เร้าความสนใจ ขั้นที่ 3 สำรวจค้นหา ขั้นที่ 4 อธิบาย ขั้นที่ 5 ขยายความรู้ ขั้นที่ 6 ประเมินผล และขั้นที่ 7 นำความรู้ไปใช้ จำนวน 10 แผน ใช้เวลาเรียนรวม 20 ชั่วโมง มีค่าประสิทธิภาพ (E1/E2) เท่ากับ 77.90/87.67 เมื่อนำไปใช้พบว่านักเรียนมีผลการเรียนรู้เฉลี่ยรวมทุกด้านเท่ากับร้อยละ 79.19 ซึ่งมีประสิทธิภาพสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 75/75 ที่ตั้งไว้ และนักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น (7Es) ร่วมกับหนังสือการ์ตูนอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
