Image Building for Faculty of Education, Rajabhat University in the Next Decade

Abstract

This research aimed to study and examine the appropriateness of the desirable image of the Faculty of Education of 8 Northern Rajabhat Universities. The population used in the research was 5,081 people including experts in public and private education, executives of the educational area offices in 8 Northern provinces, executives of educational institutes, teachers of the network schools in the upper Northern provinces, executives, instructors, current students, and alumni of the Faculty of Education of the 8 Upper Northern Rajabhat Universities. Two groups of samples comprised: 1. 15 samples for studying the desirable image were selected through purposive sampling and 2. 1,838 samples for the appropriateness test of the desirable image which were obtained by stratified sampling. The tools used for collecting data included an interview and a questionnaire while the statistics used in data analysis included percentage, average, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The results revealed that there were 6 aspects of the desirable image of the Faculty of Education of 8 Upper Northern Rajabhat Universities as follows: 1. Educational Administration – being an institution for local development, producing professional teachers, having good understanding of the context and knowledge of teacher production, being a role model institution for teacher production, holding a process to nurture teacher graduates with high quality, being a place for professional teacher training, providing versatile competency-based integrated curriculum, and being a leader in educational management; 2. Research – conducting research based on local roots with the cooperation of educational area offices and institutions, conducting clear and outstanding research, and doing research to meet educational needs; 3. Academic Services – providing academic services based on local community needs, being recognized by other organizations, providing academic services for the local community to meet their needs, and continuously producing short-term teacher development training courses; 4. Arts and Culture Conservation – linking and conserving the local culture, participating in local tradition activities, encouraging teacher graduates production focusing on cultural awareness, and producing teachers to be cultural leaders who integrate art and culture into teaching and learning management; 5. Organizational Management – possessing distinctive organizational culture, working and cooperating with other parties as a team, managing in accordance with good governance and decentralization; 6. Facilities and Learning Support – modern learning resources, providing teaching and learning with Micro Teaching Room and Smart Classroom support, and applying new innovations to teaching and learning. In addition, the results showed that the appropriateness of the desirable image of the Faculty of Education of Rajabhat Universities was overall at a high level in all aspects.

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและตรวจสอบความเหมาะสมของภาพลักษณ์ที่พึงประสงค์ของคณะครุศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏ ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 5,081 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเพื่อศึกษาภาพลักษณ์ที่พึงประสงค์ของคณะครุศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏ จำนวน 15 คน ได้สุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง ประกอบด้วย ผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านการศึกษา คณบดีคณะครุศาสตร์ คณบดีคณะศึกษาศาสตร์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการตรวจสอบความเหมาะสมของภาพลักษณ์ที่พึงประสงค์ของคณะครุศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏ มีจำนวน 1,838 คน ใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้นภูมิ ประกอบด้วย ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา ผู้บริหารเขตพื้นที่การศึกษา คณบดี อาจารย์ ครูพี่เลี้ยง นักศึกษา และศิษย์เก่า เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ และแบบสอบถาม สำหรับการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลและสถิติที่ใช้ได้แก่ วิเคราะห์ค่าร้อยละ วิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัย ภาพลักษณ์ที่พึงประสงค์ของคณะครุศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏ มีจำนวน 6 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านการจัดการศึกษา ประกอบด้วย 1. เป็นสถาบันเพื่อพัฒนาท้องถิ่น เป็นแหล่งผลิตครูมืออาชีพ เข้าใจบริบทและองค์ความรู้กระบวนการผลิตครู 2. เป็นสถาบันต้นแบบในการผลิตครู และมีกระบวนการขัดเกลาบัณฑิตครูอย่างมีคุณภาพ 3. เป็นแหล่งฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพ 4. หลักสูตรควรมีการบูรณการและเชื่อมโยงที่หลากหลายและเน้นการลงมือปฏิบัติ 5. ต้องเป็นผู้นำในการจัดการศึกษา ทางด้านการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1. มีการทำวิจัยบนพื้นฐานของท้องถิ่นร่วมกับสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่และสถานศึกษา 2. มีผลงานการวิจัยที่ชัดเจนและโดดเด่น 3. ควรมีผลงานการวิจัยที่ตอบโจทย์ทางด้านการศึกษา ด้านการบริการวิชาการ ประกอบด้วย 1. การบริการวิชาการอยู่บนความต้องการของท้องถิ่น ชุมชน 2. ได้รับการยอมรับ หน่วยงาน องค์กรภายนอกให้ความสนใจเข้ามาเรียนรู้ 3. มีการบริการวิชาการสู่ชุมชนซึ่งจะต้องสอดคล้องและตอบสนองความต้องการของชุมชน 4. มีการสร้างหลักสูตรอบรมพัฒนาครูระยะสั้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ด้านการบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรม ประกอบด้วย 1. เชื่อมโยงสืบสานวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่น 2. มีส่วนร่วมในการจัดกิจกรรมประเพณีท้องถิ่น 3. ต้องเน้นการสร้างครูให้มีจิตสำนึกด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม 4. ต้องให้ครูเป็นผู้นำด้านวัฒนธรรม มีการบูรณาการงานศิลปวัฒนธรรมกับการจัดการเรียนการสอน ด้านการบริหารจัดการในองค์กร ประกอบด้วย 1. มีวัฒนธรรมขององค์กรที่โดดเด่น 2. บริหารจัดการในรูปแบบขององค์คณะบุคคลร่วมกับหน่วยงานอื่น 3. บริหารงานตามหลักธรรมาภิบาล 4. มีการกระจายอำนาจอย่างทั่วถึง และด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกและสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ ประกอบด้วย 1. แหล่งเรียนรู้ทันสมัยโดยมีสถานศึกษาและแหล่งเรียนรู้เป็นห้องเรียน 2. สนับสนุนกระบวนการ Micro Teaching Room และ Smart Classroom 3. ควรนำนวัตกรรมใหม่ ๆ เพื่อนำมาจัดการเรียนการสอน และผลการตรวจสอบความเหมาะสมของภาพลักษณ์ที่พึงประสงค์ของคณะครุศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏในภาพรวม มีความเหมาะสมในระดับมากทุกด้าน
