Development of Training Course on Hmong Ethnic EmbroideredCloth for the Youth in Don Praiwan Village, Santisuk District,Nan Province

Abstract

The research study aimed to develop a training course on Hmong Ethnic Embroidered Cloth for the youth in Don Praiwan Village, Santisuk District, Nan Province, to study the course achievement, and to examine the youth’s satisfaction toward the training course. The target population was thirty young people, aged 10-15 years, in Don Praiwan Village, Santisuk District, Nan Province who voluntarily participated in the training course. The research instruments included a training course, a formative test, a performance evaluation form, a desirable characteristics evaluation form, and a satisfaction questionnaire. The statistical tools used for data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation.

The results showed that the training course on Hmong Ethnic Embroidered Cloth was composed of 6 learning units including Unit 1 Background on Hmong Ethnicity and their unique embroidered cloth, Unit 2 Materials, tools and procedures, Unit 3 Practice of making embroidered Hmong ethnic cloth, Unit 4 Designing Don Praiwan-style Hmong ethnic patterns, Unit 5 Creative work from embroidered Hmong ethnic cloth, and Unit 6 Finished work presentation, with a total lesson time of 20 hours. The course assessment showed the highest level of suitability. In regard to the achievement of the training course, the participants showed 51.56% in terms of academic improvement, 82.22% in performance, and 100% in desirable characteristics in terms of diligence, patience, responsibility and cleanliness. Overall the youth’s satisfaction of the training course was at a high level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาหลักสูตร ศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์หลักสูตรและความพึงพอใจของเยาวชนที่มีต่อหลักสูตรฝึกอบรม เรื่อง ผ้าปักอัตลักษณ์ชาติพันธุ์ม้ง สำหรับเยาวชนบ้านดอนไพรวัลย์ อำเภอสันติสุข จังหวัดน่าน ประชากรเป้าหมาย ได้แก่ เยาวชนที่มีอายุ 10-15 ปี บ้านดอนไพรวัลย์ อำเภอสันติสุข จังหวัดน่าน จำนวน 30 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสมัครใจเข้ารับการฝึกอบรม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ หลักสูตรฝึกอบรม แบบทดสอบด้านความรู้ แบบประเมินการปฏิบัติงาน แบบประเมินคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า หลักสูตรฝึกอบรม เรื่อง ผ้าปักอัตลักษณ์ชาติพันธุ์ม้ง ประกอบด้วย หน่วยการเรียนรู้ 6 หน่วย ได้แก่ หน่วยที่ 1 ความรู้พื้นฐานเกี่ยวกับชาติพันธุ์ม้งและผ้าปักอัตลักษณ์ชาติพันธุ์ม้ง หน่วยที่ 2 วัสดุอุปกรณ์และขั้นตอนการปักผ้าลายอัตลักษณ์ชาติพันธุ์ม้ง หน่วยที่ 3 การฝึกปฏิบัติการปักผ้าลายอัตลักษณ์ชาติพันธุ์ม้ง หน่วยที่ 4 การออกแบบผ้าลาย อัตลักษณ์ชาติพันธุ์ม้งบ้านดอนไพรวัลย์ หน่วยที่ 5 การสร้างสรรค์ชิ้นงานจากผ้าปักอัตลักษณ์ชาติพันธุ์ม้งและหน่วยที่ 6 การนำเสนอผลงาน ใช้เวลาทั้งหมด 20 ชั่วโมง ผลการประเมินความเหมาะสมของหลักสูตรอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ผลสัมฤทธิ์ของการใช้หลักสูตรพบว่า ด้านความรู้เยาวชนมีคะแนนความก้าวหน้าร้อยละ 51.56 ด้านการปฏิบัติงาน มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยร้อยละ 82.22 และด้านคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ด้านความความขยัน ความอดทน ความรับผิดชอบ และความสะอาด มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยร้อยละ 100 และเยาวชนมีความพึงพอใจต่อหลักสูตรฝึกอบรม โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก
