Instructional Model of Story Line Method and Multimedia to Develop Chinese Listening and Speaking Competencies for Matthayomsuksa 1 Students

Abstract

This research study aimed to construct an innovative instructional model, examine the students’ achievement, and determine the student satisfaction toward the instructional model of story line method an multimedia to develop Chinese listening and speaking competencies. The population was 105 Matthayomsuksa 1 students of Chondaen Wittayakhom School, Phetchabun Province in 2019 academic year. The sample, selected through the purposive random sampling method, was 34 Matthayomsuksa 1 students in the second semester. The research instruments included an instructional model using story line method and multimedia, lesson plans, an achievement test in Chinese listening and speaking, and student satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, mean, standard deviation and T-test.

The results showed that the instructional model using story line method and multimedia to develop Chinese listening and speaking competencies for Matthayomsuksa 1 students consisted of 4 lessons: What’s your name? (你叫什么名字), How many people are there in your family? (你家有几口人), What’s your hobby? (你有什么爱好), and How can I get to the park? (公园怎么走), with a total of 18 hours of instruction. Its efficiency was at 77.55/78.43, which was higher than the set criteria of 75/75. The students achievement after learning was statistically significantly higher than that of before at the level of 0.05, and the student satisfaction toward the instruction model was at high level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างนวัตกรรมบทเรียนพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการฟัง การพูดภาษาจีน เปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ และศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยนวัตกรรมบทเรียนรูปแบบการสอน Storyline ร่วมกับสื่อประสม เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการฟังการพูดภาษาจีน ประชากร คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2562 โรงเรียนชนแดนวิทยาคม จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ จำนวน 105 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 จำนวน 34 คน ได้มาโดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ นวัตกรรมบทเรียนรูปแบบการสอน Storyline ร่วมกับสื่อประสม แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ด้านการฟังการพูดภาษาจีน และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจของนักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบที

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า บทเรียนรูปแบบการสอน Storyline ร่วมกับสื่อประสม เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการฟังการพูดภาษาจีน สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ประกอบด้วยบทเรียนจำนวน 4 บท ได้แก่ คุณชื่ออะไร (你叫什么名字) ครอบครัวของคุณมีสมาชิกกี่คน (你家有几口人) คุณมีงานอดิเรกอะไร (你有什么爱好) ฉันจะไปสวนสาธารณะได้อย่างไร (公园怎么走) ใช้เวลาเรียน 18 ชั่วโมง มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 77.55/78.43 ซึ่งมีประสิทธิภาพสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 75/75 ที่ตั้งไว้ นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ด้านการฟังการพูดภาษาจีนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ 0.05 และนักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมาก
