A Study of Mathematical Achievement on Geometrics Using STAD Cooperative Learning with Multimedia for Grade 3 Students

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop and explore the efficiency of a learning management plan, compare learning achievement, and study student satisfaction of mathematics learning management on Geometrics using STAD cooperative learning with multimedia for Grade 3 students. The population was 220 Grade 3 students in 11 schools of Thung Saliam School Network under Sukhothai Primary Education Service Area Office 2. The sample selected by cluster sampling method was 11 Grade 3 students of Ban Than Cha-Om School in 2019 academic year. The instruments used were a learning management plan using STAD cooperative learning with multimedia, a mathematics learning achievement test, and a satisfaction survey. The percentage, mean, standard deviation, effectiveness, and T-test were the parameters used for statistical analysis.

The results revealed that the learning management plan using STAD cooperative learning with multimedia consisted of the following components: learning standard, indicator, learning objective, learning outcome, learning content, learning activity, learning material/source, evaluation and assessment, rubric, and learning record. The learning plan was designed into 5 steps: content presentation, group learning activity, test, individual and small group progress scores, and complimenting individuals and groups on their achievement with the highest scores. In addition, multimedia concerned geometrics such as pictures, picture wheels, and 3D materials were used in these steps. Furthermore, the appropriateness of the learning plan was at a high level. The efficiency was 88.55/82.12. The learning achievement after learning was statistically significantly higher than that of before at 0.05 (t=22.02, sig=0.00). Moreover, the satisfaction of the students was at the highest level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อพัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ เปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน และศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือ เทคนิค STAD ร่วมกับสื่อประสม เรื่องรูปเรขาคณิต สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ประชากร คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 กลุ่มโรงเรียนเครือข่ายทุ่งเสลี่ยม ทั้งหมด 11 โรงเรียน จำนวน 220 คน สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่ประถมศึกษาสุโขทัย เขต 2 กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โรงเรียนบ้านธารชะอม จำนวน 11 คน ในปีการศึกษา 2562 ได้มาโดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยวิธีสอนแบบร่วมมือ เทคนิค STAD ร่วมกับสื่อประสม แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนคณิตศาสตร์ และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจของนักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าประสิทธิภาพ และการทดสอบที

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แผนจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยวิธีสอนแบบร่วมมือ เทคนิค STAD ร่วมกับสื่อประสม มีองค์ประกอบสำคัญ ดังนี้ 1. มาตรฐานการเรียนรู้ 2. ตัวชี้วัด 3. จุดประสงค์การเรียนรู้ 4. สาระสำคัญ 5. สาระการเรียนรู้ 6. กระบวนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ 7. สื่อการเรียนรู้ 8. การวัดและประเมินผล 9. เกณฑ์การประเมิน (รูบริค) และ10. บันทึกผลหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ โดยผู้วิจัยได้ออกแบบการจัดการเรียนรู้ เป็น 5 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นที่ 1 นำเสนอเนื้อหา ขั้นที่ 2 ปฏิบัติกิจกรรมกลุ่มนักเรียนในกลุ่ม ขั้นที่ 3 ทดสอบย่อย ขั้นที่ 4 ขั้นคิดคะแนนความก้าวหน้าแต่ละคน และของกลุ่มย่อย และขั้นที่ 5 ขั้นยกย่อง ชมเชย บุคคลหรือกลุ่มที่มีคะแนนยอดเยี่ยม ทั้งนี้ได้นำสื่อประสม เช่น สื่อรูปภาพเรขาคณิต สื่อวงล้อรูปเรขาคณิต สื่อเรขาคณิตสามมิติ ฯลฯ ที่มีความเหมาะสมอยู่ในระดับมาก และมีประสิทธิภาพ เท่ากับ 88.55/82.12 นำไปใช้พบว่า นักเรียนมีคะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์เฉลี่ยหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05(t = 22.02, sig = 0.00) โดยนักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจในภาพรวม อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
