Learning Management through STEM Education to Develop Learning Achievement on Sound and Hearing in Science Class for Prathomsuksa 5 Students

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop a lesson plan, to find out the learning achievement, and to examine Prathomsuksa 5 students' satisfaction of learning management through STEM education on sound and hearing in science class. The population used was 168 Prathomsuksa 5 students in the second semester of 2020 academic year of Uttaradit Rajabhat University Demonstration School, Muang District, Uttaradit Province. The sample selected by the cluster sampling method was 41 Prathomsuksa 5/2 students. The research instrument were a learning managements plan, a test, a process skill assessment form, a desirable characteristics evaluation form and a satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test.

The results revealed that the learning management plan by STEM education on sound and hearing for Prathomsuka 5 students consisted of 5 plans as follow: Football Cheer Horns, String Telephones, Producing Loud and Soft Sounds, Producing High and Low Sounds, and Noise Reduction Headphones, which were appropriate at a high level. The students' lerning achievement was higher than 75 percent criteria with a 0.05 level of significance. In addition, the student satisfaction was at a high level.

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อพัฒนาแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ ศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน และความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวทางสะเต็มศึกษา เรื่อง เสียงกับการได้ยิน ประชากร คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2563 โรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏอุตรดิตถ์ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ จำนวน 168 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5/2 จำนวน 41 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ แบบทดสอบ แบบประเมินทักษะกระบวนการ แบบประเมินคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบที

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวทางสะเต็มศึกษา เรื่อง เสียงกับการได้ยิน สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ทั้ง 5 แผน ได้แก่ แตรเชียร์บอล โทรศัพท์แก้วพลาสติก การเกิดเสียงดังเสียงค่อย การเกิดเสียงสูงเสียงต่ำ และหูฟังป้องกันเสียง มีความเหมาะสมอยู่ในระดับมาก นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ร้อยละ 75 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 และนักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมาก
