Exploratory Factor Analysis for Leadership Soft Skills of the Administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 38

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze soft skills factors and compare the levels of opinions towards the factors of school administrators affiliated with Secondary Educational Service Area Office 38. The research population comprised 2,028 school administrators and teachers under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 38. The sample, selected by the stratified random sampling method, was 290 respondents. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and exploratory factor analysis.

The results showed that soft skills of the school administrators consisted of 3 factors with a total of 29 variables, 8 of which were of Leadership Factor, 11 of which were of Communication Factor, and 10 of which were of Professionalism Factor, showing the covariance of 65.759%. The comparison of opinions among the administrators classified by their educational level showed no significant difference in the mean scores. When compared by length of administrative or teaching experience, the opinions were found significantly different at a statistical level of 0.05.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบทักษะด้าน Soft Skills และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบระดับความคิดเห็นต่อองค์ประกอบทักษะด้าน Soft Skills ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา เขต 38 ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาและครูสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา เขต 38 จำนวน 2,028 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย จำนวน 290 คน โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้น เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงสำรวจ

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า องค์ประกอบทักษะด้าน Soft Skills ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา เขต 38 มี 3 องค์ประกอบ 29 ตัวแปรประกอบด้วย องค์ประกอบที่ 1 ด้านภาวะผู้นำ ได้ 8 ตัวแปร องค์ประกอบที่ 2 ด้านการสื่อสาร ได้ 11 ตัวแปร องค์ประกอบที่ 3 ด้านความเป็นมืออาชีพ ได้ 10 ตัวแปร ซึ่งสามารถอธิบายความแปรปรวนร่วมได้ทั้งสิ้นร้อยละ 65.759 สำหรับการเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นของบุคลากรทางการศึกษาต่อองค์ประกอบทักษะด้าน Soft Skills จำแนกตามระดับการศึกษา พบว่าค่าเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็นไม่แตกต่างกัน ส่วนการเปรียบความคิดเห็นจำแนกตามประสบการณ์ในการบริหารสถานศึกษาหรือการสอนมีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
